Brother compatible-generic brand TN-1070 toner cartridge.

The TN1070 toner cartridge has the capacity and yield rating to print up to 1000 pages and is made in only one output size.

Most of these printers will print up to 20 pages per minute in up to 600 x 600 dpi resolution.  Smart phones and tablets can utilise the Brother iPrint and Scan, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud print apps with the wireless model HL-1210W printer.

The TN-1070 is a non genuine Brother compatible toner cartridge.

 

Toner Cartridges and Parts:  A single capacity toner cartridge, the TN-1070 is a 1000 page replacement toner cartridge.

The yield is governed by an international recognised ISO standard that most cartridge manufacturers now quote and subject their products to its standard.   Page yields are dependent upon the coverage and nature of the printed pages. All quoted page yields are declared as per the manufacturers stated yields and with the ISO/IEC standard.  The compatible cartridge is covered by the manufacturers warranty for faults

The unique Brother separate drum and toner design is simple and ensures the toner is easy to replace.  The toner is easily taken out of the drum surround, by releasing the green lever at the side of the drum unit.  The toner can then be easily removed for replacement.  Brother toner does not have any sealing strips to remove, only a protective cover from the toner roller.

Replacing the drum and new toner is completed by clipping the toner cartridge into the drum unit and then replacing the now combined drum and toner unit back into the printer until the drum clicks into place.  The outside cover is then closed and clips in place.  The toner and drum then register with the printer and the user can continue to print.
The drum unit DR-1070 is also a wearing part is rated for up to 10,000 pages, dependent upon if single pages are printed or multiple pages of the same type are printed.    Overall life of your Brother laser printer will be extended by keeping the print unit clean and dust free internally, some preventative maintenance should be carried out on the printer to ensure a long life product.
Toner dust will certainly get lodged in the printer from time to time, this is like talcum powder dust and should be removed whenever possible to keep all parts clean.  Printers in the most part work better when they have been cleaned and dust removed internally.
Brother have built into their laser printers a test page to show their best work.  The test page can be printed by referring to your instruction manual for full details.  This page will activate the printer and a test page document will be printed which shows many figures to best display the laser printer.

The TN 1070 has a return to base warranty under limited warranty policy.
